Real-time visibility across every device, technician, and operation.
The reCore dashboard is a web application that shows you what is happening across your entire operation right now. Devices move through stages, test results populate, wipes complete, and grades are assigned -- all visible within milliseconds. No polling, no refresh button, no stale data.
Why real-time matters in ITAD
In a typical ITAD facility, devices sit in queues between stages. A laptop finishes diagnostics but nobody moves it to wiping because the dashboard was last refreshed twenty minutes ago. A failed test goes unnoticed until end-of-day reporting. A technician walks away from their station and nobody knows for an hour.
reCore uses WebSocket connections between every client, the server, and every open dashboard. When a test completes, when a wipe finishes, when a device connects or disconnects -- the event appears on every connected dashboard within milliseconds. Managers see exactly what is happening, not what happened.
Device tracking
Every device has a status that follows a clear lifecycle: intake, testing, wiping, grading, complete. The dashboard shows all connected devices with their current status, time-in-stage, assigned technician, and a progress indicator for active operations.
Clicking into a device opens its full history: hardware specs collected at intake, individual test results with durations, wipe records per drive, grade breakdown by component, and any generated certificates. This is the complete record of everything that happened to that device, all on one screen.

Technician monitoring
The dashboard tracks which technicians are active, idle, or offline. For each active technician, you can see what device they are currently working on, how long they have been on it, and their throughput for the current shift.
Over time, this data builds a picture of technician performance: average devices per hour, average time per stage, quality metrics based on downstream findings (like wipe failures or grade disputes). This is operational visibility, not surveillance -- it helps you identify training needs and optimize shift allocation.
Batch operations
Devices arrive in batches -- a pallet from a corporate refresh, a lot from an auction, a client shipment. reCore lets you group devices into named batches and track them as a unit.
Each batch has a summary view showing device count, status breakdown, grade distribution, and completion percentage. When a batch is done, you can generate a multi-sheet Excel report containing:
Summary sheet
Batch info, device count, grade distribution pie, pass/fail overview, and processing date range.
Device inventory
Every device with make, model, serial, specs, status, grade, and processing timestamps.
Test results & wipe records
All test results across devices, wipe records per drive, and grading details in dedicated sheets.
Search, filter, and export
Every dashboard view supports full-text search, column filtering, and date range selection. Find a device by serial number, filter wipe records by method, or narrow to a specific client or technician. Results can be exported to Excel or CSV at any time.
The dashboard is responsive and works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. There is nothing to install -- your team opens a browser and logs in. Multiple users can be connected simultaneously, each seeing the same real-time data.
Notifications and alerts
The dashboard surfaces events that need attention: a test failure on a device, a wipe verification that didn't pass, a technician station going offline, or subscription usage approaching its limit. These appear as real-time notifications without requiring the user to be watching a specific page.
